But you know, in the end I don't really care if people don't like my opinions. In summary I would like to reiterate what I think is "happening at the Broncos". 1. Bennetts recruitment decisions have been poor but he is doing quite well with what he has recruited. 2. Milford needs a ball player/game manager in order to excel with his running game. Without, as is the case now, his running game is average and ball playing / game management, poor. 3. I can't quite remember when Boyd signed but I believe it was later in the year. As far as I can see giving him a big money 4 year deal was a kind of charity from WB to Boyd. Do people know that he can't just retire and have his salary written off in regard to the salary cap? 4. I can't see what many people see in Bird. Certainly not a bad player and an excellent utility but not even close to being worth a mil a year. I wonder how it makes others in the team who are (at this stage) more valuable to it but on much less money. 5. Finally, this is probably a side issue but I dislike Bennetts surly but very limited interaction with the media, and by extension the public. I was watching a program on Fox Sports and Johns said specifically, "every coach except WB has agreed to come on." So typical and boorish! [/QUOTE]
