However maccas defence is better ane he has a bigger motor. Personally I'm leaning towards a Luke/Turpin hooker combo. Given our poor attitude and defensive issues there's an argument that Macca is a must for the side. A left field option would be to start macca at lock for the first 25-30 mins to strengthen the middle and make up for the loss of impact by having a solid front row of Hass and Pangai/lodge and and also a big meter eating second rower. Bring Macca off after 30 and then the bench lock on for the final 50 and revert back to a typical forward pack? Pretty left field but worth a a thought? When you include halves into the equation i don't think you can afford to have in your top 30: deardon, milford, sos, croft, gamble, Turpin, luke, paix, macca. Acknowledging we've had a shocker injury toll this year and used them all but do all those guys make the roster too hooker, half, 5/8 heavy? [/QUOTE]
