[QUOTE="Midean, post: 3372069, member: 10185"] I hate to say it, because i love him as a player, but i think the club might even be better off cutting him loose. The whole reason we won the spoon is because the club changed into an organization that pandered to player demands and overpaid players who were not worth their value. This set a culture in motion that led to the club being filled with entitled young men who placed a far higher importance on themselves and their value, than the value of the club and playing for the Broncos. This led us directly to the wooden spoon. Instead of fixing that issue, we tried to employ intelligent coaches (Seibold) to skirt around the issue to keep our high paid stars. This is slowly being fixed with the introduction of Ikin and Donuts and as is evident they have started getting rid of the entitled players who thought they were bigger than the club. (TPJ, Lodge, Milford etc). The effect keeping someone like this around the playing group cant be good either, as any stars of the side will be influenced by Haas and by proxy his cronies from the Roosters filling his head with promises of a better life and payday in Sydney. This all started as rumor a week ago and has evolved rapidly into what a lot us were worried about. I think the only way we get this club back to a consistent top 4 side, is through keeping players that genuinely want to be here, and know that the club will look after them and repay their loyalty in the long run. I could be completely wrong but i don't think one player, who seems to keep wanting more and more from the club, is good for anyone involved and will bring disharmony to the team with its drama.
