My issue with Reynolds is that although fairly great at directing and building pressure, he doesn’t create points. If you put him and Staggs in the halves I have no idea where our points come from if not relying on individual brilliance. Johnson should be a fair bit cheaper than Reynolds and sign a shorter contract. He has been one of the best in the league for try assists the last few seasons. I’m not sold on Gamble at all but if he can play the Peter Wallace role until Something better comes along, Johnson could be a great 6 for us. It would be a cheap halves pairing too. I never considered Joey Manu a realistic option, though he would be great.
