But if none of that drives home my point, maybe this will. Very few other teams let players go without getting something in return. The Storm rarely do, neither do the Roosters. Even this week, Bennett has said Gagai can go if he wants, at the end of the season. We need to stop being maters and do what’s right for the club sometimes instead of what might be right for the player. All that said, getting rid of Roberts was absolutely right.
