This board is full of what if's with all the signing rumours floating around so I thought it would be interesting to try and put together the best team consisting of current players who played for the Broncos but have since moved on.

I'll start with a line up just from the top of my head.

1. D. Boyd
2. R. Robinson
3. D. Gagai
4. I. Falou
5. B. Tate
6. C. Norman
7. K. Hunt
8. T. Sims
9. M. Ennis
10. A. Sims
11. B. Teo
12. D. Taylor
13. A. Harrison

14. B. Barnes
15. G. Eastwood
16. T. Learoyd-Lars
17. N. Costigan

not such a bad looking team actually.

I suggested Mundine as a joke. Would anyone really prefer a middle aged 72kg Mundine over Norman?

What was the general BHQ consensus on Gerard Beale? I wasn't around during his time with us or his departure. I was actually disappointed to lose him. Though I was never able to forgive him for what he done to Lockey's dream farewell.

People wanted him to play fullback over Hoffman in the 2nd half of last year. Granted Hoffman was playing like ass.
Never really rated him myself. Could have been a decent back-up to have in the backs, especially with all the injuries, but he wanted more and I don't really care that we lost him.

I can't believe people aren't picking Steve Michaels in their team. He was an awesome player for us!!!!

Of these players, who would you actually like to see back in the squad at the expense of current players.

Boyd, Hunt, Falou and Nathan Friend for mine.

That about sums it up. 3 or so years ago we'd have been dreaming about Taylor, Harrison, Prince & Tate, but not so much now. Is that an indication that we've been able to retain a lot of our more recent stars? Or is it more the fact that we haven't produced any worth poaching? I don't think I'd like the answer.
