To everyone who complained about Hunt polling more Dally M votes than DCE and not getting the halfback award, I'd just like to point out that whilst we all gave Hunt no votes, he actually received 2 Dally M votes for that game.

Which isn't to say that Hunt shouldn't have won it, but just that getting more Dally M votes is often a sign of nothing.

Great point.

I'm surprised by the lack of votes for Granville in that game. I can accept the others receiving a nod over him but I thought he was quite popular on here and thought he'd at least score a point, to finish 5th behind Barba was surprising.

Hunt declined a bit at the back end of the season. McGuire just kept getting better and Parker was just always consistent.

A total of 1188 votes have been given out between rounds 11-18. The maximum a single player could have received is 594. In all of those games combined, McCullough has scored 0 points and polled exactly 16 votes. Now, given a slight majority of people on BHQ who vote on survey like things believe McCullough is excellent, I think that's pretty telling. In one game Jake Granville managed to poll more votes than Macca in all his games combined (Rnd 11-18 range).

Can't say I expect a whole of difference in rounds 19-FN Wk 1 either.
