OS captain Corey Parker will make a major announcement later today and is expected to retire from rugby league at the end of the year.Parker was spotted at Broncos Leagues Club this morning when he would normally have been in camp with the Queensland State of Origin team.
Broncos officials this morning would not comment and are holding a press conference at 11.30am.
Parker said earlier this month that he had spoken to the Broncos about a new contract, so retirement would come as a shock.
If he retires at the end of the year, Parker would forego a chance to play the most number of first grade games in the history of sport.
Many players say they don’t care about records – and Parker is about to show he is one that really means it.
That would be fucking shit.
But at least we have this Arrow bloke who 3 people think is the bees knees even though he's never touched an NRL ball in his life.
