Reed maybe forced into retirement?

A great example of a guy who was a late bloomer, out of the system player who made the most of his opportunity in 2011 to build an NRL career, play for England and play in (and score a try) in a NRL GF.

Well exceeded his ability, a great clubman and always gave 100%.
 
Absolutly gut wrenching news this morning. Christ all mighty could things really get any worse for us now?!

Reedie , if you reading this, I would like to wish you all the bests for your future an whatever you decide to do. Possibly coaching?? Despite of what some of the so call fan on here said about you an the names they called, no one could ever doubt your commitment ,your determination, an, your ability to squeeze every last drop from your talent..

Congrads on all your effort an hope to see you still hangin out with the lad at the club house. God bless son .
 
Devastated for him. Didn't deserve to go out like this. Will miss not seeing him in the team.
 
Players like him deserve premierships.

Players that are willing to put their body on the line and play through the pain to keep that jersey.

You can doubt his playing ability, but you can never doubt his commitment.

He gave his all for the jersey. And while he derped things up quite a few times, he never once stopped trying.

It's quite funny reading this. I agree wholeheartedly, but you know who else that reminds me of? Maranta. Maybe we should move him to the centres, his lack of finishing ability is not as critical, and he'd have a bit more room as compared to being wedged along the sideline.
 
His 2011 was pretty special, punched above his weight all season and was a rock in defence.

Now to find a centre that wont break down on us.
