@1910 Have you seen much of the young halfback for Souths Logan Harradyn Wilson? If so, how does he go ?

Also, how does Max Plath go at #9 for Wynnum? Not even going to ask if he’s Johnny Plath’s son because it’s plain as day just looking at him!

Harradyn was with Tweed last year that won MM- pretty fair team to captain- Mozer, Weaver, Bryant and Mariner. He's just started playing ISC this year for Souths. He's going ok. Souths aren't the most stable team to be around as far as performance.

Plath kicked the field goal that won Wynnum the Colts last year.
He was coming back from injury too- had the whole year off last year came back late in the season so to play a part in finals and then be playing Cup at start of 22 is pretty impressive.

He was captain of their MM side in 2019 as well.

Nothing to do with Broncos at this stage.

Doesn't really fit anywhere but thought it showed a bit about them- yesterday Souths played their MM final at the Sunshine Coast at 11:00am.

Mozer and Gray were worried about going from the Gold Coast to the Sunshine Coast on Saturday morning. So they drove to the Sunshine Coast on Friday after Broncos' training and stayed up there to make sure nothing could go wrong and they wouldn't be late or stressed. Just did it on their own, to prepare for Saturday.

Thought it was very mature and professional of two 17 year old players.

Sounds like we finally have some players with brains again

Souths win in the last minute going 80m after a Gray break and they just plug downfield to score in the right hand corner down by two and win 26-24.

You'll never know if they hadn't planned ahead or were tired would they have constructed that set? They didn't leave it to chance that's the part I like.

is it justin Hodges that you are referring to when you mention hunt and Hodges?

Webster & Riccio both claim to have Munster & Walsh short priced to be at the Dolphins.. I love how these guys have this assumption that the Broncos aren’t doing anything and basically don’t even exist.. or when they do acknowledge our presence they grossly inflate the contract figures certain players are in.. Sydney assholes

I know it doesn’t mean Jack shit in the grand scheme of things but the more I watch and listen to NRL commentary these days the more I see a need to bring back Queensland-focused shows / content.
Except you know they're almost certainly right.

**** battling the traffic up to the Sunshine Coast on the Saturday morning of a long weekend. They had good advice.

If they get Walsh and Munster which is highly likely, surely they don't have that much to chase Herbie given they still need to fill a squad.

I think they will have enough in reserve to get Herbie. Cant see them paying him much more than 500k if that.

I'm not sure that will be enough to get him ... unless we seriously low ball him

Thing is, he wants to play right centre and he wont get that here. If he signs a 2 year deal at the Dolphins on $450-500k a year and backs himself he could get a bigger contract. His manager will know we cant afford 2 highly paid centers but if he can thrive where the think his position is best, it could pay off long term.

If we pay 500 for Herbie, it’s a mistake.

I think so, as i have said before, we cant carry around 1.2 million on 2 centers when we have other positions we are weak in.
