Pretty much. Gut says he will go Billy at 14 for at least the first couple of rounds though.
 
Is Baker still with the club or injured? I cant even recall him in a trial? Not that I'm remotely suggesting he should play.
 
You can't go Shibasaki over Mariner, surely. Mariner looks like he's levelled up and Shibasaki just doesn't have anything remotely good enough to be picked ahead of him.

I think even though Piakura did well he will commit to him as a bench 2nd rower for impact, going for a more safe team to start the season.

I'd like this, but I wouldn't be shocked at all to see Billy at 14.

Only other change I could see is Jetski starting and Piaks off the bench. Jetski to take the early stint and brunt of defence.
 
Mariner over Shiba but I’m in the Gosiewski over Piakura boat for now. Thought he had a good game. Can drive that home even more for a bit. Think Piakura has struggled at any stage to prove he is a big minute second rower in the NRL. Gosiewski has shown he has enough for nothing to go wrong with him at second row. Play him and really get some action out of Piakura. Make him earn it. It’s not gonna be the difference between a win and a loss and it’s time Piakura starts proving and earning his worth than living off moments and brief periods. I think he is certainly doing the right thing with Piakura. Mariner seems a strange one considering what we have seen so far and who he is using to put a rocket up his ass.

It's a bit of a coin flip which one starts, but both make the team, right? Piakura would have more impact, coming fresh from the bench, so that's one reason to start Jetski.

Mariner is a compulsive try scorer. He's in my team for that reason alone.
 
If we lose i will proudly do the chicken dance or dare the entire squad to do the chicken dance
 
Low key, we look better coached then even with Wayne Bennett.

This should be a great season and starting off with a big W against the Roosters might highlight that.
