Re: Rumour - Daly Cherry-Evans to Brisbane Broncos
Glenn is not ordinary- he is very creative and for our older readers he is a throwback to the old days when centres played next to each other. As a modern day second rower, Glenn is a magnificent inside centre. very good player .
if we pulled out of negotiations with Dugan, because of attitude, why would we consider Fergie?
I agree, great player and so is Dugan, but we appear to have drawn a line in the sand.
Although, it is a tad faint after our interest in the equally troubled Hairdresser.
That is a guy who likes a bit of pork on his fork.
maybe he enjoys spooning and got a bit mixed up. This guy spooning his girl with his interesting insertion while listening to Mack the Knife would be the perfect dinner date.
That is true Coxy- some of these players have delusions of grandeur and appear to have inflated opinions of what it is they can do.
Hoffman is a solid player and highly regarded but in terms of match winning ability or any great unpredictable X factor, the cupboard is pretty empty.
you might have mentioned it though, so it is still probably a known unknown, but that depends on how much you know about what is supposed to be unknown. That is probably another unknown, but that again may be known or unknown.
hats off Richard! It is a shame that someone couldn't have said that there are known knowns, known unknowns and unknown unknowns a few pages back.
However, I believe that the real issue is that there are a few unknown knowns floating about as well.
I have had a snapped Achilles and it is a bizarre injury on many levels. On the come back trail, You actually lose your strength in the ball of your foot, not the ankle. There is nothing there and it is like running in sand.
Justin knows the drum.
The mental issue is the main one and he knows...
No Harry, I don't- merely reiterating that it was another done deal that somehow unravelled.
After saying that negotiations would be kept in house after previous debacles, the Milford and Barbara sagas are again played out in public.
I have never known a club like the Broncos to have complications with signing or losing players. We lost four high profile players to rival codes, unheard of, lost a key potential signing due to a rain storm and now this.
well, the fact that Kearney hasn't been able to attract any kiwi players to the club, despite his lofty position, probably hasn't been good for his future.
Re: Rumour - Peter Wallace on the outer
No need for the overly dramatic response there old leg, merely pointing out that in the poorly thought and simplistic out game plan we have, especially considering the players we have, Wallace's doesn't have the skill set to make a significant difference...
Re: Rumour - Peter Wallace on the outer
In a team where there is a creative and well rehearsed plan and structure in place, he would be ideal. take Cronk away from Bellamy's chess-like precision and see the difference. Smith is an incredible dummy half largely due to the brilliant precision...
Guys, I have intel to suggest that some of our subscribers are moonlighting under pseudonyms.
Let's start, with the always on the money subscriber with the inside tips - 1910 is fairly easy to spot.
If we add the numerals of his user name together, we get 11 ( or 29 or 92 or 191 I suppose )...
