Nafi was a gun over here, a lot of peopel were pissed offt hey elt him leave in exchange for keeping Heremaia.
Agreed! I went to school with him and hsi brothers, they are Afghani (I think( immigrants: Omar is on his way to becoming a pro footballer, Khalid and Walid are champion bodybuilders...
Mail is it's Bluey McClennan. As long as they're prepared to drop some games in the hopes Bluey's "reggae" footy style pays off, then more power to them.
From the Warriors Under 20s:
Conrad Hurrel - huge centre, very very Tana Umaga-ish
Omar Schleiemnkel - try scoring freak of a fullback
Sam Lousi - yougner brother of first grader Sione, he's 198cm tall and weighs almost 120kg, and he's only 20 years old!
Mixed reaction from over here. In typical NZ fashion, Cleary has had gotten hsi fair share of hardknocks from so called "experts" over the years, chopping down the tall poppy in a country obssessed with All Blacks-like success.
In saying that, I think he'll be a puppet at Penrith and as said...
Wellington has a rugby game that night, and they have to play the test on a Friday night due to the NRL scheduling. Not too sure about Auckland though.
We've had our tickets reimbursed, didnt have travel insurance so we lost out on flights and accom with ChCh. Jet Star have looked after us and...
The Aussies were fucking hackers last night, we had the win sewn up in that first half, we let your mob back into it. I think both will struggle in South Africa.
Nah, last year was an average year from Ring of Honor, but I thinbk having Dragon and McGuinness move on has allowed the likes of Aries, the Kings of Wrestling, Davey Richards and Eddie Knigston top have a bit more time in the spotlight.
Most Warriors fans seem to believe that any of the following will be wished their future endeavours at the end of this year:
Brent Tate
Joel Moon
Jeremy latimore
Jacob Lillyman
Wade McKinnon
Jesse Royal
I thought the game was entertaining for what it was. A flat backline and forwards running the wrong holes meant the Kiwis were pretty ineffective on attack. However when they did get their shit together they proved to be quite potent outwide, espececially considering the two centres Australia...
Backline was far too flat, no utilisation of double rounds/decoys/sweepers/long ball combinations which have ALWAYS worked for us, too much drop ball in the opposition's red zone, the front row had a shocker and Lockyer failed to stand up and marshall the troops.
I'll think we'll win next week...
I was disappointed we let them off with those f**k ups in attacking positions.
Hwoever, there is plenty to work with in this side. "Stormin" Norman has been made a superstar overnight. God I love my footy.
