That Leckie goal was soo good, completely did the defender with the nutmeg goal.

We would have been out if Denmark scored. Imagine getting to full time thinking you're through because France scored and getting screwed by the VAR in another game.

If Poland draw against Argentina and Saudi Arabia don't win, we're playing Poland. We're playing Poland if they win regardless of other results. If Argentina win, we're playing them.
 
The rollercoaster of emotions would have been insane. Thankfully they earned their way there.

As long as Argentina win the game, as far as I'm concerned will be against opposition no better than Denmark, that's a win.
 
First time ever we've scored a goal in every group match.

Just had a look, if we can somehow make it to the Quarter Finals, we'll be playing the winner out of Netherlands and USA.

An Australia vs Netherlands QF would be a very strange game for me. Very much mixed emotions.

That was a brilliant backs to the wall performance but I think any side with a decent front line would probably have scored 2 or 3 past Australia. Can't do anymore than keep battling along. Fantastic achievement to even qualify from the group tbh.

Argentina look to be warming into this WC, Australia's worrisome defense will have its hands full with Messi and that very Spanish of sounding surnames, Macalister.
 
As long as we don't get tonked, it's all good. I don't hold out much hope, Messi could waltz through our backline alone even at 35.
 
Messi has never scored a goal in a knockout stage that wasn't a penalty, his only goal was in a penalty shootout.

But it's his ability to create chances that you gotta worry about.
