Boland is bowling grenades as well, India have done well not to be all out for 50.
 
Neser gets another. He and Boland would be starting quicks for most test sides, the bowling quality from them this morning has been insane.
 
Looks like Konstas has dropped a VERY difficult chance in the outfield.
 
Neser not coming back- same hammy that caused him to miss a Bulls game a few weeks ago.
 
Bit of a bad dismissal for McSweeney. Decent delivery though. He should still get picked as opener. He has all green ticks except for not being a genuine opener.

Yeah I'm excited for him, the test side needs an injection of some under 30s and he is the best credentialed. Plus he is a more than decent part-time spinner with wicket breaker trait. He is also a future captain.
 
Konstas out for 3. That should definitely put to bed any lingering questions about throwing him in.

Harris into the 30s and once again playing and missing at everything.
 
Davies throws his wicket away, really dumb shot.
 
I didnt get to watch. I think as long as he looked comfortable up until he got out than that innings shouldn’t scare the selectors off. The one worrying thing for McSweeney coming into this game was that at a certain stage you aren’t gonna keep scoring at the rate you are which is fine but at the MCG you always left space for Harris to look like a fucking superstar. Biggest Vic ground merchant of all time.
 
I think it’s safe to say Konstas and Davies are both a fair while off being remotely discussable. Give them 2 more years and they’ll both be primed I reckon.
 
Australia bats deep but without Neser, so already effectively 5 down and still 80+ behind. This has not been a great exhibition by the batsmen.

Oof that was a great ball, no idea how Webster survived that.
