See that's where I was confused. Harry said he took the 2 highest spec riders (of which Dennis was one) and then said he wanted Cadel to fall over after I said Dennis might have to work for Cuddles. But then he said "ah well" after I said Dennis should win, implying his bet lost. So I got confused.

As long as Dennis doesn't crash though, it's all good. And I'll be sure to tag you in next time! Milan-San Remo probably next!

Didn't even pay attention to the name sorry Ari, the lack of excitement in your post made me think it was someone I hadn't backed lol. Your cycling tips are seriously the business. Thanks heaps. Oh how I wish I'd had a bonus bet so I could have put down some serious $$$. Please tell me you put some money on?

I have a small amount on Dennis but not a lot. The payout's going to be less than 20% of what Tony Martin was worth and just over half of a normal tour win, so it's not an overly exciting. Still, I'll seriously rage if he somehow crashes or something.

There should be a rule that if a golfer leads on the back 9 on Sunday he can't lose. I can count numerous people who I've had lose from such positions, but I can only ever recall one who has won after trailing. So cruel :(

I see Palmer is contention. Maybe he can do the business for you!

...and so the curse seems to continue. I don't hold much hope for Palmer at this stage, I do for Hoffman and Kuchar though. I think they're my last 2 realistic shots.

Did you know Bill Haas won the Ben Hogan award in college? He won it in 2004. I only bring this up to segue into a point I wanted to make.

Every Ben Hogan award winner from 2002-2010 has won on PGA Tour, except for the 2003 winner (so 8/9 winners have won on Tour). On 5 instances, there was a 4 year gap between the year the player won the Ben Hogan award and the time they won on the PGA Tour.

Only real reason I know and care is because the next to win in theory is the 2011 winner, Peter Uihlein! His continued play on the European Tour makes it a bit difficult though.
