Excellent win last night, despite missing Foordy (sick), Cam (holidays), Tom (Cambodia!) and Reuben (ankle).
Rubes did provide us with a fairly decent replacement...Sammy T! [icon_lol1.
We were playing against the team coming 2nd and we were coming 6th out of 8 teams. We led 3-1 at half time and despite a slow second half start that let them back to 3-3 we went on with it to win 7-5.
Funny hearing the other team whinge "this isn't fair, we should get Webcke or someone" [icon_lol1.
So the result means if we win next week we could sneak into the top 4...though I'd rather finish 5th and play in what they call the "beer finals"...bottom 4 teams.
