Just thought you tragics might need a thread for this week so you don't go through withdrawal [icon_lol1. icon_thumbs_u

this made me so pissed off to see we had a bye this week, just as we are hitting form.

It is two points to file away penny, and plus it gives us more of a chance to get back some of those players that are injured and gives Yow Yeh and Winterstein and Gillett more time to shake off their niggles.

Winterstein looked terrible out there. With his injury I mean. He was limping around the field.

Te'o bust his eardrum and there was another player who had a small injury but I can't remember who.

So it came at a good time IMO. It will give those players and the ones lynx said a bit of extra time to recover. Plus its better going into a bye with good form rather than bad form IMO.

Yow Yeh looked to be limping towards the end of the match .. he may still have his knee injury that he got in the all starts game. he came back quite early because i'm pretty sure he was supposed to be out until this week

i think this game might be the perfect chance to trial Locky at fullback with Norman/Wallace in the halves.

I've been thinking about that one also. Norman seemed very comfortable in the halves against the Storm and looks to be a born 5/8. The Sharks game (not the bye [icon_lol1. ) could be a good one to trial it...
It could extend Locky's career, and keep him and his leadership for another year to direct all those "kids" around the park.

I just really hope that the cap remodeling will allow us to keep our product, because I sure would love to see this team for example after Locky, Hodgo, Parker and Kenny retire:

1- Hoffman
2- Kemp
3- Beale (Inglis)
4- Folau
5- Yow Yeh
6- Norman
7- Wallace
8- Hannant
9- McCullough
10- T. Sims
11- Te'o
12- Thaiday
13- Gillett
14- Hunt
15- Setu
16- Dodds
17- Hala

mmm i would have Winter or Copely before Beale.. And if we "manage" to keep Izzy then i don't want Inglis..

Also i don't see Parker retiring soon.

No, I'm asking you. The Bye is very underrated and isn't a guaranteed 2 points... you fiddle with your team at your peril!

In that case you have a point maybe we would be better risking some changes against the Sharks...

Classic, and I was thinking of giving the whole squad a rest [icon_razz1

I'm hoping we are going to get the 2 points!

Coxy is right, Bye is very dangerous. Look, it's the favourite against the Storm.

I might put some money on if that is the case.
