Sounds a bit rough for seggy.
We all know he is not a ‘development’ player.
He should be on minimum wage at least.

He signed a 6 month contract on minimum wage. It's not a developmental contract, just a deal to see him out till the end of the season. Pretty good for a guy who was working as a removalist or a dish pig or whatever the hell he was doing.Sounds a bit rough for seggy.

Interesting. Do they remain on their development contract or do the become entitled to minimum NRL wage?
Basically what the article says is that Seggy is signed for a fraction of the minimum wage due to his development contract status. If it is the case that he remains on that low amount but is also available whenever you want after June 30, that’s is quiet the finesse.
@1910 ?
Mmmm cooofffeeee!I would love to work as a barista if wage wasn't a problem.
He mentioned some of the Shark's boys were giving him heaps leading into the game. He'll be having a field day with them now.
Hope we keep him on the books for next year.
Macca would look great in a sharks kit. Re-sign Turpin and Seggy.With older Brailey off to Newcastle and Flanno Jr to the Roosters, they’ll probably have a spot for him there again. We may do too, depending of course.
