how funny would it bee it be if st george also manage to snag milford for next year as well.

even more funnier if they manage to go one better then what bennett achieved in 2015.

I dont think my heart could take it if that happened

I reckon there is a very good chance Milford will be there next year, Hook is putting the band back together.

we joke but there is no doubt for whatever reason milf played his best football beside macca and hunt.

would still hurt like **** if those fuckers won a trophy with st george though

I'm not joking, I like what Hook is doing, he clearly has a plan and is making it happen.

the thing is his plan is i'm going to go with what i know.

and hook couldnt get the best out of those players in the past it was bennett that got them all playing at there peak.

so would be interesting to see if hook has any other real plans other then *i will get every player i have coached in the past*.

i will give hook some credit though I thought what he did at panthers was good and he was unfairly sacked

Broncos was his first gig and the most under pressure spot in the nrl. He was pretty garbo with us but i think he learnt and when there isnt so much spotlight i think hes done well at panthers and is doing well at the dragons.

I'm betting it's down the road at the Tits. I would also not be the least bit surprised if he ended up back at the Raiders as a specialist number 14, provided Sticky is willing to forgive and forget. He will be taking a huge pay cut regardless, but he would be most comfortable there in familiar territory with his best mate Papa. Can't see him living anywhere in Sydney.

I think that is what we currently have for next year. I imagine Piakura is coming on to the bench and no doubt Carrigan and Bullemor will be in the forwards/bench. Who fills in the blanks?

More importantly, should we re-sign the below?

Coates
Dearden

I'm really hoping we keep Coates, Dearden would be nice to keep so long as the bank is not broken and he is willing to bide his time. If he goes to the Cows, so be it but I'd be genuinely asking for Hammer in return.

Coates is an absolute must re-sign. Kid is going to be a star, also gives us a good target on the flank.

Dearden is also a re-sign IMO, but not on a massive deal. 350k to 400k max at this stage. if he wants more than that, wave him goodbye.

Coates needs to learn how to take a hit up from his own end, at the moment he is pretty useless when he isn't being used as a bomb target. He runs like he is scared, and always gets driven back a few metres. Definitely worth signing, but if Addo-Carr is only on 500k, then Coates shouldn't be getting more than 300k.
