If there's someone we legitimately need at training a few times a week, it's him, not Parker.
One clear thing lacking from our coaching staff & playing group alike, passion for the Broncos jersey. Tallis might at least weed out some of the pea hearts for us.

No way is Oates one of these players. He might be unhappy at being dropped and not getting enough constructive feedback but he doesnt do anything behind people's backs, he just isnt built that way. He's fronted everyone to their faces when he's done anything, and like Gordy says about Lodge, he took ownership of what he said.

The first week Parker was asked to help at training this year we beat the roosters and the forwards actually played really well. May have been a massive fluke but maybe Parker provided something as well.

The media dream team of Peter Badel, Phil Rothfield and Fatima Kdouh are reporting the Broncos have "formally expressed interest" in Dane Gagai, but this does not include "tabling a formal offer."

I do wonder how Gagai would go at Fullback at this stage of his career.
Earlier on in his career he had the problem of being a massive hog with the ball, but his passing has improved drastically over the last few years. His work rate is great, his running game is great, his hands are great. Wouldn't be against signing him and having him and Farnworth battle it out for the #1 jersey.

He’s still a massive hog. All of Johnston’s tries are from cut outs that bypass Gagai. He never passes.

FWIW, the Broncos are also "closely linked" to Capewell. But few of us here are penciling him in.

I just don't see how he gets in the starting side. Sitili and Crichton have the edges locked down with Radley, Taukeiaho and Collins in the middle. Then there's guys like Butcher and Liu who can't get a starting spot but offer bench versatility.
After riding the pine at the Sharks and Panthers I think his next move will be for a start. If he was happy to be a bench player and win prems he would just stay at Penrith for less cash.

Badel has officially linked us to Gagai. says we have a $3 million war chest while Souths have salary cap issues. (he probably said that to preempt his article that will claim Gagai is signed to some ridiculously high and BS salary)

This kind of shit from Badel frustrates me so much. Gagai/Broncos spoke a while ago. His management are holding tight on talk yet Badel goes and throws shit at the wall to wind things up.
It might be completely possible they are deep in discussions, but his management and himself are being tight lipped.
