Pretty sure we don’t need to replace him at this point in the season. Could easily be more than $90k but even if it isn’t that could be used to double Martin’s current 80k deal.

There are a few clubs who will take him for 2022 who have lost hookers i think. Next year i had heard he had got no offers at all. If he does ok if he can get a club there is a chance he could get a gig next year.

be interested to know how much we paid back in 2019,at the time i think he had a few clubs chasing him

Forgot about the not replacing thing, that'd be closer to 150k then, pay some of TMM's extension upfront would be nice.

@GKDonkey I've heard talk from that one guy on Reddit we might shop Herbie to upgrade Te Maire. Not sure if that would bother anyone.
 
I think we need to backfill the position if Turps does move on... we saw it with Isaako, as soon as he left Tesi gets injured.

In that circumstance we had some back up in Mead or could shift Cobbo or Herbie to fill the void... for hooker we have no back up.

Neither Billy or Paix can play 80mins if the other got injured... so I think we desperately need someone that can be a back up, in the same way Seggy and Levi have done over the past few years.

Is the deadline for finalising rosters June 30 or have they pushed it out again??

tbh i think Billy is the better rounded player , although i wish we could have given Jnik a chance.

My train of thought is similar to broncsfan. ^^

we know Turpin can play 80 if the need arises.

going completely off of stats and match reports but maybe we will throw a base contract at Kaloa saitua (may have spelt his name wrong?). Bench hooker but Harrison Graham is going to the dolphins and saitua sounds like a beast, decent minutes and breaks tackles and scores tries at will by the sounds of it. Harrison Graham might be kicking himself if there's a long term injury to paix or Walters though....

Sucks how he turned out. He'd still be the best 9 at Dogs, Manly and Titans so I imagine he will end up there.
 
I actually forgot he was still at the club.
