I just read on fox league app that we are possibly going to offer Moylan a contract should his season go well.
When I 1st read thay we may sign Moylan, straight away I thought please don't be true. But this actually would be a good move for the club if we are looking to move on Kelly, Walters or Gamble.
He has experience and can cover in the halves and at fullback. Moylan is very up and down player but would be solid back up option if offered a low paying contract.

That's what is going to happen, we'll be waiting about 3-4 years to develop one from the ground up for another club to poach

I dont think he has signed yet. I like Hurrell, but he isnt fit enough to play NRL i dont reckon at the moment. He's pretty lazy in game as well.

I very much doubt we are interested in Moylan we are simply being linked because our 5/8 options look dire.
There were reports only a couple weeks back that Sharks are looking to extend him... this is all just his manager trying to get more money by linking him to us.

I think we should try to retain Oates as best we can. When you look at our squad, Oates is our second most experienced player(178) behind Reynolds(238), and he's only 27. He still has games in him. It's not like Glenn or Thaiday's situation where they were clearly at the end and offering very little.
On top of that he would have to be close to the veterans allowance/exemption as well. Next year he's been an NRL player for 10 years (potentially at 1 club) It wouldn't seem smart recruitment wise to let him go in my opinion.

JT basically asked 'So you're off contract. What's going on? Are you on the way out or do you absolutely love it here and plan on staying as long as you can?'
Herbie's demeanour changed and basically said he'll leave it to his manager and they'll announce something in a few weeks.
Didn't sound too good for the Broncos.
