Yup, he knew what he was signing up for now wants out cos it's hard. Hard pass, despite how good he is.
I think he is just negotiating his salary. He may be completely happy at the dog's but is using the option to add 100k that they might have had to pay if they had signed him later last year

The sad part if farnworth leaves is he’s another junior we’ve nurtured to be nrl ready for another club. His new club will probably teach him how to pass.
Totally we are a feeder club atm. Walker and Walsh much bigger losses than herbie though. Either he stays for 350-400 or we let him go. I don't mind either way.

Walsh for sure. This time last year, Kevvie couldn't see him as a first grader. A year later he's the first player the camera heads towards at the end of a match. He's wasted at the Warriors.

I wonder about Walker. He's obviously a massive talent for his age, but the choice to pursue Dearden instead might not pan out to have been the wrong one. We completely had the measure of Walker last time we met. Not so much Dearden, which I think surprised a lot of folk around these parts.

The best thing Herbie's done this season - along with Oates and Capewell - is to have built a brick wall on that side of the field. But like I keep saying, no matter how good his defence is, no one pays a premium for it. It's like fielding in cricket. It's just a box that gets ticked.

In my opinion, Jesse Arthars is a far more effective attacking centre than Herbie. He'd have put more points on the board for us than Herbie. But he'd also have let more through.

So by my reckoning, use Jesse Arthars as a guide for valuing Herbie.

Jesse Arthars is not a more effective attacking centre? Thats one of the worst takes I've seen on here, Arthars is okay but Herbie is one of the most elusive runners of the ball in the game, he mightnt be the best as passing but he's much more of a threat than arthars

"Effective attack" results in points on the board, rather than a bunch of clopping up the field. Herbie puts on a fine show, but Arthars actually gets it done. I don't consider either of them to be elite centres, but side by side, Arthars is more likely to move the scoreboard. And I'll take points every day over metres.

Does that mean if we lose Herbie we could always get Arthars back?

I think it’s best we let Herbie go. He’s going to be an obese diabetic gamer within twelve months.

It didn't go down like that at all. Media beat up. Hes simply not happy there and doesnt see it turning around. Option is in his favour after next year.
My post was sarcasm , sorry if I didn`t communicate that clearly .
So how did it go down then ?

How is Coates going with his bomb catching lessons ? LOL .

Periera on the wing with cobbo in the centres will make more metres the our current set up, if we need it.

Only going off highlights this year, past years performances and stats but pereria looks like a deadset gun to me. I get the feeling once he gets a chance we will be saying "how the **** was this bloke not in the team?!"

I think he is vulnerable to bombs .
Do you think he could out jump Feldt , Toupo or some of those other tall wingers ? He might go OK against Penrith if he`s on Mansour `s side . LOL .
