Last night confirmed my opinion that Nick Kenny should go nowhere near the first grade side unless some sort of Prop-virus goes through the club and he is the last option left...
1 bad/very short display in his first game back from a long injury has made to come to this opinion? Jeez, I would hate to hear your opinion on some other things.

My opinion is based on his performances in 85% of the games he plays...he's an average prop at best and we hve much better optionsthan him going around

Agree wholeheartedly. Even when Kenny was getting heaps of raps last year, I thought he was just an average prop doing an above average job given his size, strength and ability. I think the winning streak last year is the 15% you're talking about.

The rest of his career he's been dominated when taking hit ups, never dominates when tackling and is generally just a so so first grader.

Compare it with the rather remarkable ground making, defence bending, bone rattling displays of Anderson and McGuire against Souths and it seems dumb to leave both out (accepting Anderson was dusty with an injury).

To me Dodds and Kenny are pretty similar players. You have one or the other in the 17, not both.

I would have thought Kenny was one of our best middle defenders?

he is definately a good defender in the middle but i agree with the comments above. with the ball he is very very average indeed. i can't say he'd be in my team.

1. Hoffman
2. Kemp
3. Winterstein
4. Falou
5. Yow Yeh
6. Lockyer
7. Wallace
8. Tronc
9. McCullough
10. Kenny
11. T'eo
12. Thaiday
13. Parker
14. Hunt
15. Sims
16. Gillett
17. Setu/Dodds/Anderson/McGuire

Why would you bring Kemp into the team when he doesn't offer anything that Winterstein wouldn't ? Plus if Kemp was to be in the team it would be to replace Winterstein (as his leaving). Glenns centre spot should go to Gillett. Gillett and Teo interchanging from centre and second row is the right option - as it free's up Gillets bench spot for an extra forward.

LOLZ.

I don't think Kemp should be in the side right now either, Winterstien has done nothing to lose his spot.

But seriously, don't compare the 2 when you're comparing skill or anything else. Kemp at his best offers a lot more than Winterstien could ever dream of.

Kemp is no where near his best atm.. so therefore would not offer anything greater to the team.

I thought Winter's try on Friday night very good. Had to beat a few players. I thought Yow Yeh's was better though

Looks like Parra will be without Tahu - came out against the Knights after taking a bottle full of angry pills and collected Ben Cross with a strike across the chops. Ten in the bin and on report - commentators reckon it's a send-off offence - I wouldn't go that far but he'll do time for it.

Also Grothe is injured and theres no report on him ATM. Ben Smith was injured just before the game too.

Well then, when should he be in the side?

Wow! The Eels lose it in the last two minutes and the Broncs are still in the 8!

Meh, I don't see why we need to be in the 8 at this point of the season so being two points out or due to F/A, doesn't bother me.

It's when the finals are coming around that we need to be there.

yeah that knights - para game was ridiculous, knock on after knock on after knock on

Broncos should be able to win this provided they can pull a performance like the one they did against Souths...

Agreed Kenny gets dominated way way to easy, and Tronc needs more speed in his hitups, its like he has a handbrake sometimes

Parra will be fired up for a big game after that display, Hindy was well are truly pissed off.

Broncos are still going to kill em though :)

Very heavy ground, hopefully it took something out of Parra's legs as well.

If Tahu isn't suspended for being a complete turdface then the judiciary has problems he literally tried to decapitate Ben Cross and then ruin De Gois' face even more.

Tahu has been charged and is looking at a 4 week suspension, 3 weeks with an early guilty plea. Source Fox Sports News

Seriously, Parra are one of the worst attacking teams in the comp. If we lift our intencity in defence, we'll win the game. No ifs or buts.

We should keep them to 10 max. We are one of the better attacking teams, Parra are ok in defence so we should win this 20-8 or something like that.

No excuses for this one, we should win it.

Alright, that's enough,

INTENSITY.
