yeh that was the one. to be honest, id say the only reason they did it in HD was because you need HD to do 3D decently, and 2010 was right around the 3D "fad" that sony and harvey norman especially were pushing HARD. once the hype for 3D died, so did their interest in showing games in 3D and HD as a side effect.
Yes, and so what will happen is they'll have an HD simulcast of the main channel. The main channel will still be SD. Gem will remain an additional HD channel. In an ideal world, they would show the "delayed" game live on Gem. Give people the option of which game to watch live and which to watch on replay.
Of course, because Channel 9 is involved, the ideal world doesn't exist.
