Despite all the crap that went against us tonight, we did it yet again. Suck it Bellamy!! Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!
I have seen every minute of every SoO game since 1980 but tonight after those 2 decisions I walked away from the TV.
I seriously doubt the integrity of the officialdom after tonight. I still don't know the outcome but I honestly beleive they have done their best to create a 1-1 scoreline.
I've gotta LOOOOOOL at the NSWelshmen who thought Tonga would suck. His two early tackles resulted in 2 dropped balls, and he was excellent in defence for the rest of the match.
And Thurston. What a tackle on O'Donnell (I think). That's when the team really started to lift.
Terrible terrible game from the Blues. Can't beat a injury ridden team. It proves what I said Farrah is not good enough dummy half for SOO level. Kite is too soft and what the hell was Lyon and the Wolfman thinking - idiots. Wallace again is scared when it comes to SOO level. Atleast Barrett was doing something.
Oh well, great game from QLD. They were gifted so many tries and 2nd half held down the fortress as all the troops keep falling down. You wouldn't have got a tank through there the way the Blues were playing.
Neither side played all that great (NSW pathetic in the first half, as all the commentators said should have been behind by 30) - but for Qld that was a win for the ages, a win built on legendary QUEENSLAND pride, spirit and guts.
That 2nd half, with all that stuff against us (injuries galore, the complete inability of any ref to actually see what was happening, the mountain of possession for the opposition etc etc), that is dead set almost a replay of game 2, 1989.
This Queensland side is the equal of that one at least, and might just be the best ever.
Stand up and applaud all Qld supporters. [eusa_clap.gi [eusa_clap.gi [eusa_clap.gi [eusa_clap.gi [eusa_clap.gi
