Well thanks to the Broncos I won a double pass to the game this weekend, so will be heading to this game. Probably be watching it from the nosebleed section or something, but a free ticket to a World Cup semi doesn't come around too often!!

Just hoping to see a good game more than anything due to me not having any preference as to the winner. Maybe my allegiance lies slightly across the Tasman due to my favourite Caxton St pub being owned by a Kiwi!

Any other lucky Broncos season ticket holders? They gave away 50 double passes surely someone else here got hold of one!

Congrats on the free tix! I reckon it should be a great game. Despite what appears to be the trend, I think N.Z will beat them again, poms are just weak as piss.

The Poms couldn't read a simple second man play to save themselves and fail to grasp the concept of decoy running. If the Kiwis get a reasonable share of the ball inside the Pommy half, England will be embarrassed for the 3rd (actually 4th) straight week. Their touch footy tactics that work well in Super League aren't much chop over here.

I want to go to this, but am still tossing up the $33.

Anyone else going?

I'm thinking about it. Not like it's going to be hard to get tix anyway, A reserve is still available!

After a day of taunting poms in the city with "Go the kiwi's" i ran into an old school friend who just happened to have a FREE spare ticket!!

So i shall be going to see me kiwi bro's thrash these nancy's!
Zomg so excited to see the haka live! How awesome!!

EDIT - Scratch that, stupid mates housemate decided he wanted it last minuet.... What ever happened to first in best dressed [icon_shru

First in best dressed was bought out by "I'll give it to whoever the **** I want" in a hostile takeover in 2003. Didn't you get the memo?

nah, lived to far away mate, it never made it out that far.... still goin by the old trusty system, you know how it is coxy behind the times.

Kiwis 32-22.

Game error ridden but was still good viewing.

Glad to be seeing NZ in the final when I come over. Wouldv been a downer to have and England/Aus final.

Error riddled game, but still an exciting game IMO.

I think Australia will do NZ by 30+

For the sake of English RL, Graham (sp?) (the redhaired Pom forward) and Macguire both need to sacrifice $$ and join NRL teams. Both guys are very young and could carve out 5 seasons here, which would only truen them from dcent potential to greats IMO.

Graham has the potential to be England's version of Webcke/Price/Civo and Macguire has great potential as well.

There was a streaker?

Good game I thought. A bit dropsy, but no more than a lot of Origin games are. Quite intense, some really big hits and some excellent tries. Only disappointment was the Poms defence. Seriously, the Broncos would score 10 tries against them just by doing the Locky-Harmichael 2nd man play every set. They have NO idea...and Keith Senior was the worst!

I don't know why but I'm a little nervous about the semi tonight. I have a hunch it could be like 2000 against Wales, and Fiji could well be leading at half time before the good guys storm home.

And big **** YOU to channel 9. They didn't show last night's game live so they could show a REPEAT of Wipeout? FFS!

For the sake of English RL, they need to stop letting so many Aussies play in the ESL. The ESL is a great comp, but the national team suffers for it because the English players are not getting the benefit they should out of it due to too many foreign players.

Second that. I have barely watched any of the matches due to Ch 9's delayed telecasts - usually only make it til half time before I'm snoozin'

Was a terrible game. The Poms couldn't catch a cold.

Surely the Aussies will win by 30+ this week
