Playing to the wishes of Super Freak.

Was thrilled when the Eels took this guy of us and for big money as well. Showed potential in his first year but earned the ire of Brisbane fans later for his poor form and was deservedly dropped to QLD cup.

Indeed.

In saying that, I feel a lot of fans have discounted what he brought to the club. I don't think there was a coincidence that Glenn had his best season by far in 2012 - he enjoyed a strong combination with Norman and Corey to his credit could throw a mean face ball. The problem was, like a lot of young halves, Norman didn't have his head screwed on and rarely seized the opportunity to make his mark. I only remember one occasion where that happened, Round 2 2012 v Cowboys and we still didn't win that night!

I felt like Norman copped an unfair wrap in the back end of 2012 - I would have been very interested to see how a Norman/Hunt combination would have worked but admit, it's a greener grass situation. However, the complaints were deserved in 2013 and it was frustrating that the Broncos depth was as poor as it was because he should have been dumped after the Parramatta fiasco.

I wish him well at Parramatta but he was a poor act to follow Locky, despite the undeserved hype.

I feel more like Corey Norman copped a bad wrap in the first half of the 2013 season.

He was one of only 2-3 players who looked dangerous with the ball in his hand.

Threw a very nice last pass on several occasions to put both Hoffman and Maranta away.

I don't see why Bman sees the need to throw the boot in here when Norman is long gone.

Most probably has something to do with his grubby NSW upbringing.

For every nice pass Norman threw he fucked up another 5, usually by running it when he had massive numbers in his favour.

I remember that Penrith game where be butchered try after try with our season on the line. He's well suited to Parra.

His running game was pretty deadly, and he actually played really well (and even far outplayed) with Hunt in the halves in a couple of matches. Would be kinda funny if he actually goes well at Parra, would go a long way to proving Wallace is a black hole that sucks all the talent around him (but somehow still wastes it).

Would make an outstanding centre if he applied himself to the role instead of thinking it was his god given right to play 6.

Yeah, from what we've seen of his ball playing, centre or 2nd row seem like the best options. It's not Josh Morris, Josh Hoffman or Josh Dugan or whatever bottom feeder level, so it'll probably add something extra to those roles.

Even an old stager like Scott Prince looked decidedly shaky when he was teamed up with Wallace. Prince looked far more capable when Hunt wore the 7 and Prince was able to play his natural organising game.

Anyway...

that's enough about Peter Wallace.

Norman and Sandow.

God is a myth so no one can help Parra.

Well they also have the best ball playing fullback, and the best ball playing lock. All they really needed was an organiser and a hooker.

For the life of me I can't think of who you're talking about.. Darcy Lussick?

Joseph Paulo. He's technically more of a 2nd rower, but then what I said wouldn't have had as much impact, since there's SBW. :p

Corey Norman has talent but so do 99% of professional sportsmen, my problem is he doesn't feel a desire to work, he thinks it'll just come ala Tomic. My problem with him is that he just never looked like he was trying.
