The NRL has advanced competition newcomers Gold Coast $2 million to help the Titans cover a recent financial shortfall.

The global economic crisis that is threatening the liquidity of several Sydney clubs hit the Titans late last year, when the club's bank withheld $4 million from a promised loan to fund a development to Skilled Stadium.

What extension? It's brand fucking new.

Deadset, the park they have there is bloody good. Waste of time, the Government already spent a bundle.

The ground is good, the surrounds are awful. Heaps of work needs to be done around it.

I'm still   at the place being named "Titansworld". I mean honestly, was that the best name suggested?

I imagine Boobansworld was taken.

I'm still disgusted they ran with the name "Titans" in the first place to be honest.

And secondly, there's no way the surrounds could be any worse than the sh*thole of QEII, formerly ANZ Stadium, which we played out of for a hell of a long time. Hate the Titans, but hope they don't fall in a heap financially.

Mick, by surrounds I mean the grounds of the place itself. It was a mudbath last year when we went for the Tits-Broncos games. No doubt that's where the money is going. It's a good location otherwise. Town Centre and Pacific Fair are two major shopping centres nearby, Robina train station, Pacific Motorway not far away.

Whats wrong with Titans?

When I went there for a World Cup game there were all these plans for a shopping complex and all this other crap surrounding the stadium. I think they were going to have rooms for people to stay the night after the games as well. Could be wrong on that though.

I suppose that is what it's for. They were getting roads done when I was last there.
