Corgratulations to Josh Kerr.
I played footy with his dad. I've not met him but apparently he's a monster.
Going to the Saints next year.

Queensland have never won an Under 20's Origin game. They've given themselves the best chance tonight. Camp has been smooth.

Broncos wise:

Su'A man of the match for Australia this year and NRL debut so I am sure he can handle Origin he's matured since that game.

Shibasaki hasn't missed a game this year and is averaging a very good 125m per match he's been doing a really good job- most runs out of all the Broncos, 8th for the comp- It's a great achievement only being 18 and making the 20's side.

Fai- been solid in ISC, really stepped up and has realised he can be a weapon running off Scarlett and Dennis- has definitely got smarter this year with what he does.


I am excited to see how Brambling goes; played 50 NYC games now so this is another step up. He's played ISC this year for a struggling Mackay. His combination with Gela-Mosby will prove pivotal.

He's off contract end of this year so this is a big night to step forward again.

New South Wales won 36-22 making it five-straight victories in the Under 20s format.

The Maroons opened the scoring through Lewis, but it was essentially all the Blues from there as they cracked the Maroons defence and scored try after try. The Maroons scored three late tries to make the score respectable, but the class of the Blues side was too much to handle on the night.

Gela-Mosby was the Maroons best from the sounds of it.

Meanwhile Cooper Bambling emerged out of the sheds after half-time with crutches, so it appears he's in for a stint on the sidelines which won't help the Cowboys Under 20s any.

Junior Blues 36 (Reuben Garrick, Lachlan Croker, Jack Cogger, Zac Woolford, Bayley Sironen, Matt Dufty tries; Brian Kelly 6 goals) defeated Junior Maroons 22 (Bernard Lewis 3, Gideon Gela-Mosby tries; Brodie Croft 1 goals) at ANZ Stadium. Half-time: 12-4 Junior Blues.

Serious? Did you guys watch live stream? Maroons were dominating until the ref started piggy backing the blues home. Completely changed the game. Penalty count must have been seriously bad. Scott was outstanding in saying that though and really tore through the left edge of qld. Croft and Sua were all class together and really helped the maroons get back in. Gideon was good and so was Kerr for Qld.

Just read the nrl.com write up on game and can see why it looks like nsw dominated badly. IMO Qld forwards actually matched NSW. Penalties made a big difference. The combo of croft sua Gideon and Lewis on the right side was really something special in that second half. Scott was the difference and he made ALOT of ground.
