Reed a pommy after all?

Carr is a wanker.

On one hand he was warning Vidot not to play for Samoa as he wouldn't be allowed to play for Qld (which he was a good chance of at the time) and on the other he allowed Uate to play for the PM XIII and then City/Country to little media attention.

This was also the same guy who made it a priority to stop Folau being a water boy for Tonga in a warm up game.

The same guy who told the Raiders they couldn't play Jersey Flegg or Harold Matts unless they entered a NSW Cup team despite little to no assistance and extremely poor management of that competition, to the point where a lot of the players are annoyed with how they're alienated.

*sigh*

The selfish side of me is happy Reed is playing for England as it makes them a more competitive side and ensures we have some depth come Origin time. But if I was looking out for his best interests, honestly if he kept at it he could fill some sort of role at Origin level. Now I guess it will go to Maurice Blair.

Be honest Big Pete, you didn't think Reed was quick enough for Origin anyway did you.. :haha:

So what Kaz? It wasn't like being a water boy was going to affect anything and if nothing else he gave the AFL more publicity by carrying on about it.

Reed would be a great addition for the pommies.

With Widdop, Reed, Ellis, Burgess, Ghraham(the English prop) I reckon they can start to be truly competitive.

If we England can become seriously competitive than the international game would hugely benefit for it. Having 3 very strong teams would make the current international game which is useless at best with only 2 real teams a hell of a lot better. The Tri-nations would be awesome to watch if all 3 teams were awesome.
