not all of us. i was right about michaels, as i am about everyone i lambast.

Yo.

Haha, surely you are on a wind up?
Yeh Michaels is much better than Boyd. A current test match winger and origin winger who leads the count for most tackle breaks this season.
Michaels>>>>>>>>>>Boyd fo sho.
Michaels for life.

However, in the context of everything the correct decision was made. Last time i checked we weren't exempt from the salary cap..

At the time of this Michaels Vs. Boyd debate, i'm pretty sure Boyd's value wasn't in the region of what it was when he signed for the Dragons.
We don't know how much Michaels is on either. Hopefully it's a packet of peas and a tin of beans per match.
At least you can see that Boyd is the better player. icon_thumbs_u

I don't think we could have kept both players, i still maintain it was the correct decision. Would be nice to have him on the end of our backline, just like it would be nice to have Petero, Hannant and Ennis in the front row - but it just doesnt happen like that these days.
Boyd was one of the best fullback talents to hit the scene in years, despite an indifferent beginning to his first grade career there was no doubting he was on his way to higher honors. Clubs are always looking years ahead when it comes to shaping their rosters, this was no exception and is one of the few decisions Cullen has made that i agree with.

You are more informed tho, i mean, you had massive wraps on michaels and look how good he has turned out to be
