The club needs to do better. Even if Seibold is a crap head coach, take it out of his hands and hire the best assistant coaching staff out there. We're one of the richest clubs yet we have a work experience coaching staff.

I think selecting the coaching staff ought to be a lot more than accepting the head coach's baggage. So coaching staff "appointments" is simply the head coach having whoever he wants?

I thought Payton was so desperate to coach in Australia he knocked back the full time gig with the Warriors. If Cartwright heads north................... Maybe a free spot down in the better part of the state.

Payten has done a fine job, but i'd be wary about signing a coach who basically has no pressure on him right now. They arent expected to do anything with their current situation, pretty much every game is a free hit for them. I'd rather see how he goes for a year or two in a different situation.
