Let's go.

Must win game again.

If the Forwards aim up like they did today and Hodges has another great game, we're sure to get in the winners column.

Run the pack at Widdop all night long, don't give their outside backs any room to move and this should be an easy win.

Another do or die game.

St. George have plenty of weapons up their sleeve and will be a bigger challenge than the Newcastle Knights.

On the other hand, that result may have been the impetus the Broncos were looking for after a slow start against the Knights.

I'm feeling pretty confident about this one but expect plenty of drama too as two desperate teams battle it out in what should be sudden death football.

Another big win is needed, if only because differential might get us in if we lose to Melbourne.

I don't know the stats but we seem to do alright against St George.

We should win this one. Team sheet day always makes me nervous though.

same team hopefully. take the confidence from beating the knights, stick with the job at hand, and hopefully we get the job done. you would think the dragons will beat the titans and therefore still technically be alive in the comp, so it will be a tough game.

We have won 9 of our last 10 against them, that was back in round 5 2010. Funnily enough it was the reverse before that for quite a while too.

If the Eels beat the Knights, which is very likely, the game against Melbourne will decide whether we make the 8.

If we play like the first half against the Knights, we'll lose.
If we play like the second half against the Knights, we'll win.

Simple as that.

They have the two of the best finishers in the game so our edge defence better be wise.

Both our wingers had better spend plenty of time at training catching cross field kicks, because the Dragons wingers are great at scoring from those kicks.

As for most games, attitude in defence will be important, as the Dragons rely heavily on quick play the balls and dummy half runs through the middle of the ruck (sound familiar)

Should be a great game !!

The weather will have a big bearing on this one also. The Dragons' pack is a little light, so if we can muscle up like we did last night that will give our backs a good chance to run rampant again.

Absolutely, though even at their best, they're well out matched in that department (Vidot especially). Kick pressure is extremely important here: Widdop is pretty cool under pressure, Benji not so much. Limiting their time to place a well weighted kick will go a long way to negating their aerial superiority.

Wow, it looks like Maranta is going to play two weeks in a row at fullback. i wanted Maranta to get antoher shot at the start of the year but it you told me this was going to happen, I'd have told you to go easy on the beer.

did you even watch the game?

Maranta may have had 1 on his back, but played the entire game on the wing
