Can't speak to the veracity of this mob, so obviously this one is still in rumor territory. Has anyone heard anything about this from anywhere else?

BREAKING: NRL Grand Final to move to Queensland - Yahoo7

The NRL Grand Final will reportedly move to Queensland after 2019 while ANZ Stadium undergoes renovations.NRL Chairman John Grant hinted that Suncorp Stadium would likely host two Grand Finals in the four years it will take for major changes at the Olympic Stadium.
"This is rugby league territory why wouldn't you bring it to rugby league territory?" Grant told 7 News.
The big move comes despite ANZ Stadium telling 7 News that Sydney would not lose any major sporting events.
Calls for the NRL's showpiece event to move to Queensland grew with an all-Queensland Grand Final in 2015, between the Broncos and Cowboys.
