NRL allowed James Segeyaro to make Broncos debut as an unregistered player

Jets were fine with it, Roosters were fine with it, and the NRL is fine with it. Is there really a story here? It may set a precedent that the NRL will have to follow for similar cases in future, but surely that's about the worst of it.

In this day and age of email and text communications if both sides want something to happen don’t know why it couldn’t have all been done before the game.

What a stupid rule anyway. If a rule disadvantages no-one but a player trying to play NRL and everything is in line from a salary cap point of view, then it is a shit rule.
 
This is more on Newtown than anyone else, just sign the paperwork ffs and stop playing silly buggers.
We had to put up with this when my son was in u10's. He had to sit out 6 weeks because his old club refused to sign the transfer papers and only did so when we played the ASD card.
Absolutely ridiculous.

Said that rules are rules and the NRL need to take the 2 points off us or it will set a precedent. Said if they don’t take the 2 points off us there is nothing to stop the Roosters for example signing SBW in GF week and playing him which is a terrible example.

Can't see how the NRL can take the points off if they fucking rubber stamped it.

It's the same as those stupid calls to take away the win when the 7 tackle set happened. The NRL made the mistake rather than us trying to cheat.

He was named on the Tuesday before the game so if the NRL had an issue they had ample time to tell us so.
 
Don't worry about Kunt, the NRL most certainly won't do anything now as it will look as though they are bowing to media pressure. If the Roosters were blowing up deluxe perhaps something would happen but otherwise, we can forget it.

I mean I would agree with him...maybe....if it was some sneaky shit we did. But the NRL and Roosters gave their blessing.

besides the fact that their hands are tied since it was the NRL that allowed this to happen
