The news is that the Frogs will pay all.

That's the problem - NRL looks like it is going down the financial drain.

And it's not SBW - it's Gasnier, Rooney and who knows who it will be in the future?
 
We will just have to make it expensive for the frogs. Damages for breach of contract sounds good.
 
The dogs management could try & get an injuntion on him playing anywhere, until his current contract expires.

Gallop needs to step in here right now and do something, salary cap or not, this cannot happen.

No need to amend the cap, if he does that, all elite players will say I'm thinking of going to Union OS.

My next question is to anyone who knows legal.

Even though he will be breaking his Bulldogs contract here in Australia, how can that effect him, playing in France? I mean, can the Bulldogs even sue him if he is in France? And secondly, if they can, can they touch his money, unless he is extradited back to Australia? And thirdly, seeing how he has Samoan and New Zealand citizenship, can they even extradite him to Australia?

In a nutshell, can they get his coin or not?
