Ok, 1-13 has been decided, now its time to select 4 bench players. Still heaps of great players left. You dont have to, however it would be good if u picked 2 backs and 2 forwards as thats the format i will be going with.

Farkin' hard choice.

First pick: Shaun Berrigan - that was a no brainer.
2nd choice: Michael De Vere - very dependable back and goalkicker for us, deserves a spot in the decade 17
3rd choice: Sam Thaiday - of the forwards left, he has been the most consistent for the last 4-5 years
4th choice: Dane Carlaw - real tendency to just drift along, but you can't deny his form in 2000-2002 where he scored barnstorming tries for the Broncos and Queensland on a regular basis.

Just missing out: Corey Parker.

1st: Shaun Berrigan - No brainer, best utility we havce ever had.
2nd: Casey McGuire - He is versatile and fits the bench role, was a very handy player when used as a utility.
3rd: Sam Thaiday - Easily the best forward for us on that list.
4th: Ashley Harrison - Of all those forwards left he was the only one who was never crap for us (well neither was Hannant I suppose)

I love Ash Harrison. Really love him. Was gutted when we lost him. But I can't help thinking he only played 2 seasons with us and then got cut. Hard to show what he was made of.

Carlaw also had 2 great seasons (2000-2001), 1 good season (2002) and then was good in patches and shit in others from 2003-2007 before leaving.

I refuse to pick anyone who showed as little heart as Dane did at times, he became a shadow of himself and an absolute passenger on the field.
