Thorn was pretty awesome in 2000 from memory, but when he came back in 05 and following that he wasn't overly great. IMO Thaiday pips him.

That is actually a fair argument...

In saying that I don't think Thaiday has been anywhere near as influential bar towards the end of 06 and the end of this year...

Tallis is the clear standout.

Well more than that... I think Thorn was just more old school and he would go out there (rather than doing that pritchard / creagh business) and just do his job no mess. Being a big unit and all...

The downside is the D is often caught out when little men like Bowen run around the 60th min mark.
