Test Series v India

Not sure I like the idea of playing 4 quicks in Sydney, as has been reported. I would think that would be at the expense of Lyon, and the SCG has traditionally favoured the spinners.

Harris is a good bowler but at the end of the day I reckon he's just going to have to count himself unlucky.
 
Madness to play 4 quicks at the scg. Especially with Harris not bowling that well and very short of first class bowling.

Interesting that Hilfenhaus is struggling yet again on the SCG. Has his moments, but he's looked least likely to snare a breakthrough.

He hasn't really bowled poorly just had very little luck. Seems to be bowling a bit too short this test so far.
 
He was to that point. He needed me to bag him to fire up.
 
He has a role in this team and he's executing it beautifully. He's not there to take a bagful, he's there to be threatening with the new rock (which he was) and then move into a containment/pressure building role.
 
I think they need to. Realistically, the SCG is a horrible place to chase any total of note. I'd say a 200 lead is a minimum requirement at this point.
 
Please retire, Ricky. At least now we can remember you with some fondness.
