It's possible that this year, we will have Collingwood losing a Grand Final, the Titans losing a Grand Final, and Storm getting the wooden spoon. 1 of the 3 has come through so cheering home the other 2!!

Of course, the ultimate addition to this would be a Broncos premiership, but you can't win 'em all **** 2011 [icon_wink )

It's also good that many band wagoners will be going to the game to prove that QLD/Brisbane people love Rugby League more than Sydney teams, whether it's the Broncos or not. (Having said that, I won't be giving a red cent to the Titans and there's no way i'll be at the game!!)
 
I could never in a million years cheer for any team with Greg Bird in it. End of story.
 
On one hand, I hate the Titans. On the other, I REALLY hate the Roosters.

Actually I recall how poorly NSWRL / ARL / NRL has treated the BRONCOS and compare that to how they have bent over backwards to help the Titans which makes me hate the Titans even more. :evil:

I'll be cheering for the Roosters. But as Coxy is also backing the Roosters in his heart of hearts, that probably means the Titans will win [icon_frown

I am putting money on the Titans today. So the football gods will have to decide whether rewarding me financially is in keeping with their desire to punish me this year.
 
Their decision will be that the Titans will win and your betting slip will be destroyed therefore resulting in you being unable to claim your payout [icon_razz1

It adds to the hate. Could you imagine his beady eyes on Grand Final day holding the premiership trophy? Ugh!

He was found innocent because the law allows people to work together, change their story, and appeal with a completely fabricated story.
 
And to get technical. He wasn't found innocent. He was found Not Guilty.

A not guilty verdict doesn't prove innocence.

Rather see Ryles with the trophy than Bird. But neither will happen cause the winner of the Dragons/Tigers match will go on to take the title IMO

Very easy to get off on appeal when you and your victim corroborate a new story. Katie no doubt got a nice pay out for her assistance too.

I would give Inglis the benefit of the doubt, given the continued nature of his relationship with his fiancée.
The Bird affair however, is not a simple slap in the face (not that it would be ok); it's a glassing in the face, nearly blinding the woman.
In court, there must be proof beyond doubt and Katie provided that doubt.
The verdict was one of: "we know he did it, but we can't prove it"

Anyway, getting back on topic.
I just want the Tigers to get to the final and smash whoever plays them, because it will be a sad off season if any of the other teams do. [icon_pray.
But the Titans as a Qld team would be a lesser evil than StMerge or the chooks, especially if Bird accidentally breaks a few limbs against the chooks... [icon_evillaugh

WRONG! The verdict was "he did it, we can prove it, he's guilty, and we're sentencing him to 12 months jail".

He then appealed, and managed to per$uade Katie to te$tify on hi$ behalf a completely new $tory that contradicted ju$t about all the evidence given in the trial...and the judge bought it.

He's guilty as sin.
