How would you like to see the side line-up?

Beauty .......fox sports it is @ 4.30.

Will be watching right the moment I get home from the Reds.

what is wrong with that? it is, afterall, just a trial. think its great that its on for those without foxtel to be able to see it. its definitely better than nothing and 9:30 isnt too bad.

i'll be watching live on fox though :)

i hope kahu gets another start. i simply have not seen him play before and curiosity is getting the better of me.

aside from that hopefully we line up as strong as possible. i dont think we should be chopping and changing the halves AGAIN. we need ot get some consistency into whoever will be the 6 & 7 for round 1 BEFORE round 1.

Traditionally the last trial is the dress rehearsal 2 weeks from the season opener. Should be a good indication of our starting line up:

e.g. -> 2012 versus Storm in Hobart, here's the team Hooked selected:

Josh Hoffman, Gerard Beale, Jack Reed, Justin Hodges, Jharal Yow Yeh, Corey Norman, Peter Wallace, Scott Anderson, Andrew McCullough, Ben Hannant, Alex Glenn, Ben Te’o, Sam Thaiday (capt). Interchange: Ben Hunt, Petero Civoniceva, Matt Gillett, Brendon Gibb, Dale Copley, Dane Gagai.

Super 15 Rugby - it's like single player campaigns in FPS... provides interest for a couple of weeks before you get stuck into multiplayer and never go back.

Full strength

1. Hoffman
2. Maranta
3. Reed
4. Hodges
5. Kemp
6. Norman
7. Prince
8. Hannant
9. McCullough
10. Mcguire
11. Glenn
12. Thaiday (C)
13. Parker

14. Wallace
15. Gillett
16. Stagg
17. Dodds/Hala

I haven't seen Hoffy's progress this season so far, but based on last season:

1- Norman
2- Maranta
3- Reed
4- Hodges
5- Hoffman
6- Wallace
7- Prince
8- Hannant
9- Macca
10-McGuire
11-Glenn
12-Thaiday
13-Parker

14-Stagg
15-Gillett
16-Hala
17-Dodds

Macca needs to play 80, and if he can't, maybe Stagg or Glenn can cover for him during the 10 minutes breather he needs...
Alternatively, we can go with Baptiste to give us spark from dummy half, and leave Dodds out of the team, which would mean rotating Thaiday and/or Parker in the front row while Hannant or McGuire take a break.

1 Josh Hoffman
2 Delroy Berryman
3 Justin Hodges
4 Jordan Kahu
5 Lachlan Maranta
6 Corey Norman
7 Peter Wallace
8 Ben Hannant
9 Andrew McCullough
10 Josh McGuire
11 Alex Glenn ©
12 Matt Gillett
13 Corey Parker
Interchange
14 Scott Prince
15 Sam Thaiday
16 Ben Hunt
17 David Stagg
18 Mitchell Dodds
19 Scott Anderson
20 Jack Reed
21 Joe Bond

^ official trial side for those that dont realise.

why are they still stuffing around with the halves ffs.

whats the deal with reed? was he overcoming surgery ?

No Kemp, Molo, Granville, Baptiste, Gibb or J. Wallace?!?! 2/10 hope we get the spoon! Off with their heads!

Just kidding, although the lack of Kemp is surprising.

I suppose they still want to be sure, I'm sure Prince has got the inside running but the question of who will partner him is up in the air.

Reed had an operation on his shoulder and I believe did further damage to it early on during the pre-season.

look they would know what they are doing better than i. i would of thought it would be better to get a full trial under belt with the planned halves for rnd 1 to build up some rhythm.

Excited to see Kahu play. I also hope Bond makes the cut, Stagg doesn't need to play this game, there's no need to "trial" someone like him, it's pretty obvious what he provides to the team anyway. I do want to see what someone like Bond can offer off the bench though.

Berryman must be sleeping with the coach? Very surprised about Kemp!

To me it just looks like Griffindor is trying all our wing options and will choose the best performer for round 1. I don't think Berryman's selection means he's going to be there for round 1 with certainty.
