Timu with 3 tries apparently, impressive for a forward, pretty sure he used to bag a few back in the day too

murphy was very good, scarlett also impressed off the bench too and had a good combo working with timu.
seve looked the pick of the outside backs. he is very quick and defended really well and looks the only likely first grade option at this point. anderson, alick, isaako, whitchurch were only average and made some basic handling errors.

Thanks for the recaps.

Feeling good about this year. We've retained the core of a very competitive team but we've got some real options with players in the fringe of selection.

Especially pleasing to see we've got more capable options in the backs than Whitchurch. Unfortunate for him but he's not made a go of his opportunities when presented with them. Based on all ore season fixtures it would seem Eden/Opacic /Seve would be the pecking order?

No disrespect to Maranta either, but hopefully this relegates him to back up. The kids has heart but we really need more strike on the wing than he offers.
