So wait, from what age was Haas contracted with the Titans originally? It sounds like it could be before 16, wouldn't that make him eligible for QLD instead?

He doesn’t want to play for us. And there’s more to eligibility than just that.

Born in Newcastle and played NSW Under 16 in 2015 and NSW Under 18 in 2016 off the bench and captain in 2017.

Fair enough, it just originally sounded like Keary, who also didn't want to play for NSW.
 
Most of us know - talent alone does not win origin games.

Look at Fatty Vautin's whitewash team. Everyone wrote them off as being a mixture of would bes and has beens with zero talent. Nik minute 3-0 to the Maroons.
