I was pretty pissed off to hear Crash' comment about White wanting out if Hook was hooked.
Hopefully it's not true as it makes us look like a rabble .... in an area of a club that needs to be strong and united (the front office)
I seriously doubt WB will come back anyway...it's what a lot of people expect, and he doesn't exactly do things to suit the masses anyway.
Titans might be a real chance though seeing as though they are having a major review of how they operate.
Hopefully it's not true as it makes us look like a rabble .... in an area of a club that needs to be strong and united (the front office)

Well White has been in charge during the Salary Cap debacle so he can probably take his lunch box and go if those are his true feelings. I want Hook to succeed as much as anyone but he hasn't and it is only his own fault.

This being a results driven competition, why do we want a coach who's just run away from his post with his tail between his legs after a complete failure of 3 years as head coach?

I think the Knights maybe wanted Bennett to fix everything with the club, but he's seen it can't be fixed at the highest level. Add that to the fact that "reportedly", he hasn't been paid for a while and it's easy to see why he would want out. I don't think he's running away, I think he's seen the ugly underbelly of the club and wants out for that reason.

In today's article re: salary cap investigation, it was reported that we tried to get him back after he left the Dragons with an offer of 950k a year (a figure that still would have made him the highest paid coach ever).
But apparently he turned us down because the offer was "disrespectful".
If true this is a fact that IMO, can't be ignored.
Also if true means that he wouldn't be coming back for the love of the club or to restore the club to it's former glories. He will be coming back for the zeros on the end of his pay check.

Be interesting to see how it pans out. If Broncos expect top 4 finishes and they don't get it again this year, interesting to see how much their public words mean...

HE Broncos have got their man if they want him, with Wayne Bennett informing club directors he is ready to come home to rebuild the Brisbane empire he created.
And while the five-person Broncos board has yet to reach a unanimous verdict on Bennett, club legend Darren Lockyer shapes as the key.
Bennett has indicated he will return to Red Hill if the head coaching spot is available after a series of meetings with board members Dennis Watt and Tony Joseph.
“The Broncos have approached Wayne and he will come back if a job is there,” a well-placed source said.
Bennett’s second coming hinges on the Broncos’ board, who convene this Tuesday in what shapes as one of the most significant meetings in the club’s 25-year history.
As Broncos’ coach Anthony Griffin fights to keep his job, it has emerged:
■ The Broncos are now the frontrunners to secure Bennett, who is also being pursued by the Dragons, the club he led to the 2010 premiership;
■ Kevin Walters is slated to be part of Bennett’s staff, almost a decade after he was sacked by the master coach as his assistant;
■ The Broncos’ playing group is divided, with a faction keen to see Bennett back; and
■ At least two board members are not convinced the club can win a premiership under Griffin.
Despite being linked to the Dragons, who have the financial muscle to fund his return, Bennett is keen to again coach the club he led to six titles.
The onus rests firmly with the Brisbane board. If they have the gumption to terminate Griffin, possibly as early as this week, it could be the final step in securing Brisbane’s foundation coach.
Griffin is contracted until the end of 2015 but the board must confront growing sentiment that the 47-year-old cannot deliver the glory years cultivated by Bennett.
The pursuit of Bennett was hatched in May, involving a number of trips to Newcastle to visit the Knights’ coach.

I wont bore you guys with another rant because you all know my feelings on a possible Bennett return...
But I will say this... Even though I think getting him back is a mistake, if he does come back I will give him my full support. Like have done in the past and with both Griffin and Henjak.
