Theres a few saying that bennett would never play favourites like that, would never bring boyd back when we dont need him, would never cut a player like barba to fit him in etc.

Those are the ones that will look silly
 
I think if Boyd doesn't come back, QUEENSLANDER has to change his name to Mr. Stupid for 2015..

Actually, I'll think of a better name.

I personally don't think the balance of the team would be right with both Barba and Milford in the 13, therefore I would take Boyd in place of Barba but he most definitely would not be in my halves

I do think everyone needs to calm down a touch over this. Bennett picked Boyd at 5/8 this year for the Knights. It didn't work so he put him back to fullback. One thing Bennett is not and has never been is overly loyal to players to the detriment of the team overall - Griffin-style.

If something isn't working, Bennett DOES change things.

I like to think Bennett isn't that stupid. Barba is younger, more versatile and seems to be taking to the number 6 role pretty well. There is literally no reason to choose Boyd over Barba.

I dont believe boyd will ever play on the wing. Favouritism will keep him in a spine position

If boyd isnt working wherever he gets picked, bennett wont move / drop him. Again, favouritism.

There u go. Ive highlighted the points that i think will be 100% incorrect within a month of season 2015.

I dont like to single these guys out, but u asked for examples. However, i think most of you will still look stupid, because the main reason you dont think boyd is coming is because we dont have a need for him and bennett wouldnt bring someone that we dont need. The rumours are being labelled as rubbish and unfounded too, so when they prove true, more egg on faces

And yes, if boyd doesnt come, or he does but plays wing all year, ill be the one that looks stupid. Just dont think thats going to happen

Fair enough. Would much prefer a proper half and keep Milford at fullback. We've also got Hoffman under contract for next season.

How could my point be 100% incorrect within a month? I think Wayne will give him a fair crack at Five-Eighth or Fullback, at least as much time as Griffin gave Hoffman, and if it gets to the point where the fans are as pissed off about it as we were about Hoffman, he'll move him, without question.

Without question? Bullshit. He hasnt moved him from the spine all year for the knights despite his pathetic, park footy standard form. What makes you think it would be different here?

If WB is giving Boyd a fair crack at Fb or fe what kind of fair crack does Barba get?

I'm on the fence if it is at the expense of Hoffman.
