Wynnum Trial - STREAM AVAILABLE

I didn't bring my glasses but I don't think I missed much. (I forgot floodlights really screws my vision).
I saw Natusch getting sent off. He has a few cheap shots in him so I'm guessing he started.something and someone retaliated?
Quite a few new names in Wynnum. Peter Gubb was missing from the start so I think the Broncos should have sent Pearson at the young.fella on that wing a lot more. I think Whitchurch was passed the ball twice (and dropped it one of those from what I am reading here). He can tackle though.

I thought the Seagulls really turned up to play and had the better of the first forty minutes. The Broncos did little to help themselves, committing mistake after mistake without threatening the Seagulls at any point. I don't think Richards could wait to get them in the sheds at half-time and get them to regroup. Clearly he got the intended desire and the Broncos superior conditioning ultimately proved the difference in the back-end of the contest.

I thought the forwards laid a nice platform for the team. Captain Joe Boyce set the tempo with plenty of 1%ers around the ruck, Arrow was tireless and Timu had some inspired touches. While it's no secret I'm a fan of his, the way Jaydn S'ua was able to turn around a disappointing first half and finish strongly in the second reaffirmed my opinion of him.

As an aside, if you get the opportunity I'd suggest coming down to Kougari. Great people, good atmosphere and plenty of BRL history.

Surprised you guys were bored at the game. Thought Broncs defence was outstanding in that first half. They came alive in the second. Timu and sua were fantastic. Funaki was good until thebsend off. Attack needed some work but thought for a young team they did the jersey proud.

Wow nice stream. What was the punch all about. First half defence from young sua was solid. I dont think the kid even went off. Any news on hipgrave injury. Really enjoyed seve and pearson on wings.
