Your Anzac Test Teams

Heading to the test on Friday night but I'm expecting rain to ruin things. It would just be my luck....I'm expecting the Kiwis to be a massive chance and may just drop a few dollars on them with the start. Anyone else going ?
 
Did anyone get to the bottom of Milfords absence from the Samoa squad?
 
Yeah, Milford is (realistically) no chance, while McGuire should be there for sure.
 
They may have already given McGuire a dispensation . I think everyone recognises that it's raffertys rules when it comes to SOO eligibility . I'd like to see McGuire get a go at Origin and I acknowlege his prowess as a front rower although I think he'd make a fine lock or wide running second rower. He has demonstrated he can play the lock forward role with my Samoan buddy asking me about him after he impressed the hell out of him while playing for Samoa.
 
I firmly believe that McGuire's origin aspirations are stronger than ever this year because Bennett is backing him. Having Bennett in your corner is a very big points scorer.
 
I'm pretty sure Vidot was ineligible for selection last year because he played for Samoa in the pacific test.

I don't think you can play for another country and play Origin in the same year.

Under international rules, players can switch their country of allegience once between World Cups if they are eligible for a second nation so Leilua could technically still be selected for NSW in this year's Origin series. However, Milford declined an approach from Samoa coach Matt Parish, who was struggling to find a playmaker after his Four Nations halves pairing of Ben Roberts (Super League) and Kyle Stanley (injured )were unavailable.
