He would be such an improvement in Turpin it’s not funny. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him go to Redcliffe and carve up.

I think Redcliffe actually have their eyes on Reece Robson.

Brent Read:

“Herbie wanted to get through the first month or so and that is up now. Herbie has had a bit of a disrupted pre-season. He had a few health issues I think leading into the season. The Broncos were keen to get a deal done. Herbie said, look I just want to wait a month or so and play some footy. In that time the clubs in for Herbie have expanded. The Dolphins are right in there for him."

“They have offered him the opportunity to play right centre. He plays left centre at the Broncos but his preference is to play right centre, which is where Kotoni plays. The Dolphins have said if you come to us you can play right centre. Whether that is enough to get him away from the Broncos I’m not sure."

“But now that four rounds are up I would expect some movement on Herbie Farnworth in the next couple of weeks. The Broncos want to keep him and I think they are optimistic they will keep him. He has shown what he can do and he has played pretty well for the Broncos this year."

Haha

Nek minut - Redcliffe have offered a quarter of what the Broncs offered but he's going because he is a far wing rightest.

I will never buy into this idea that players join a club just because they were promised a position that wasn't available within the 17 at their current team.

If they're wasting away in QLD Cup and there's an opportunity at another NRL club, I will buy into that one but not this notion that a bloke already in our 17 would go play for Redcliffe because they'll offer him a spot on the other side of the field, that's ridiculous.

Exactly, at the moment if he was to go to Redcliffe to play right centre who's passing him the ball? They don't have a 7,6,9 or 1 unless Jamayne is playing 1. They could sign players that like attacking to the left.
How much right centre has he actually played? I've read quite a few times on older articles his preffered position is fullback.

The Broncos could always throw a bait and switch at him - offer him fullback - like they offered 5/8th to Kotoni. After he signs: "sorry mate, we accidentalied Reece Walsh"

Graham is really going well, they've made a great investment there. He is tackling like a demon and starting to run and become confident. Started on the bench and already forced his way to the starting side and 80 minutes. Another 12 months he will have played 25 ISC games and could be NRL ready.

Yep and could see the ingredients there last year. I reckon they have their 9 already.

Does he even want to play 1?

I'll just leave this here:

I'd be surprised if Wayne makes him his first choice but you never know.

Really it lines up, he will be 22 and played ISC for a year and a bit- that's near perfect. Wynnum are doing the Dolphins a massive favour this year.
